Why Am I More Likely To Get A Cold In The Winter?
— -- Question: Why Am I More Likely To Get A Cold In The Winter?
Answer: A lot of people think that the winter time is when most viruses come out and that's why we tend to get more common colds. However the reality is that we probably see more colds in the winter time because we're all huddling together for warmth on the inside and spending more time in closer proximity.
So whereas in the winter we see more colds, it's not so much that there are more viruses it's just that we're closer together, we're touching hands a little bit more, or coming in contact and coughing and sneezing on each other a little bit more, and that's why you see more colds in the winter.
