Loft launches size-inclusive clothing rental service for under $65 a month
Loft is the latest company to jump on board with providing rental subscription services, and there are lots of perks involved.
On Tuesday, Infinitely LOFT was introduced, and its a clothing rental subscription service available for a flat monthly fee of $64.95.
With the brand's new service, you can rent a box of three garments at a time with unlimited swaps to enjoy. There's also the option to buy pieces you really love with a discount rate of 50-80% off.
"Infinitely Loft is another exciting way for us to deliver the size-inclusive fashion our client knows and loves, plus great value and convenience,” said Laura Jacobs, the chief marketing officer for Loft, Ann Taylor and Lou & Grey in a press release.
"We know she’s constantly evolving, both through different stages of her life and in her ever-changing style preferences, and we want to be there with her every step of the way," she added.
Loft's new subscription service is an extension of the company's progressive partnership with CaaStle, and the initial collaboration both brands launched offering a capsule collection of Loft Plus styles through Gwynnie Bee clothing rental service in 2017.
"It is our mission to show up and be there for our clients wherever she chooses, and she’s told us that her closet requirements evolve with her mood and style," the president of Loft, Andrew Clarke, said in a statement.
"We are now evolving that relationship into an endless closet," Clarke added. "Infinitely Loft is about saving her time and increasing her access to the brand."
With a growing number of consumers, eager to shop more sustainably, Loft appears to have the right idea.
There are other popular subscription services such as Rent The Runway, which offers monthly payment plans for as low as $89 a month ($69 trial month), Stitch Fix which has customers pay a $20 styling fee for each shipment, and Le Tote which lets you rent clothing as well as accessories for a flat rate of $79 a month or $89 for maternity.
Cheers to more shopping, swapping, and less spending!
