Kylie Jenner gets real about lip fillers: 'It was the best thing I've ever done'
Kylie Jenner is getting real about her image and self-confidence.
The reality star and businesswoman is the cover star of independent magazine HommeGirls Vol. 9. For the opening look, she was photographed by Ilya Lipkin wearing an all black ensemble including an Atsuko Kudo Couture Latex Design bodysuit, All-In skirt, Vex Latex stockings and By Far mule heels.
"She's the creator of a multi-million-dollar beauty enterprise, she's starred in two reality TV shows, she's a mom, she's a daughter and sister," the puplication captioned an Instagram photo revealing the cover on Tuesday. "Once she tweeted about not liking a Snapchat update and the company lost 1.3 billion dollars. There's no denying her impact. Now, at 25, we all know who she is, and she knows who she is."
In the accompanying cover story, Jenner got candid about how her lips were previously a source of insecurity that eventually turned into a massive empire.
"I think a big misconception about me is that I've had so much surgery on my face and that I was some insecure person, and I really wasn't," said Jenner. "Yeah, I love full lips and wanted full lips, but growing up I was always the most confident person in the room. I was the girl performing for everyone. I had my one lip insecurity thing, so I got lip filler, and it was the best thing I've ever done. I don't regret it. But I always thought I was cute."
The mother of two also spoke about passing her beauty confidence down to her daughter Stormi. When asked what beauty advice she would give to Stormi, Jenner said, "That she's perfect the way that she is. Be confident, always be confident in yourself."
Since becoming a mother -- in addition to Stormi, she's also mom to son Aire, 1, and shares both children with partner Travis Scott -- Jenner revealed that her own approach to beauty has changed a lot over the years, especially since becoming a parent.
"It's made me love myself more," she said. "I see my features in my daughter and my son now, but you know, my daughter looks like me. I get to see my beauty in her, and it's made me love myself more for sure. Beauty is always changing for me."
The upcoming volume of HommeGirls is slated to launch May 4.
