Katy Perry returns to 'American Idol in a cow-print outfit after giving birth to Daisy Dove
Katy Perry made a grand return to"American Idol" in a head-turning look that was hard to miss.
The "Daisies" singer donned a head-to-toe, black-and-white cow-print ensemble designed by Christian Siriano as she appeared back on the competition television series.
This was her debut appearance after giving birth to her daughter Daisy Dove in August.
"MUTHA MILKS is back to werk @americanidol and it’s udderly ridiculously MOO-ving already," Perry captioned a photo of herself wearing the animal-print outfit. "Not pictured: my pumping breaks (shout out to @csiriano for the incredible custom costume)."
Since posting, Perry's her return has received nearly 2 million likes on Instagram and loads of loving comments from fans.
Siriano also gave his followers a glimpse of Perry's captivating moo-ment on Instagram, writing "Mooooo over for this fun custom custom for our love @katyperry #holycow #okbessie #milfmoney."
One Instagrammer, @miss_gator, praised how the designer incorporated breastfeeding/pumping access. "Very impressive! I know its not the easiest design feature," she said.
Another fan chimed in, requesting Siriano to create a nursing collection.
Perry told Entertainment Tonight that her fiancé, Orlando Bloom, has been taking on full-time parenting duties in her absence.
"It's hard a little bit these first couple of days away and not being able to be there," she admitted, "[but] I'm so grateful for this opportunity and for this job, and to be able to continue to inspire other people to go after their dreams. ... I mean, my life just feels very full and whole," she said.
