Gigi Hadid makes return to the runway after giving birth
Gigi Hadid made a major return to the runway.
Marked as her first comeback to the catwalk since giving birth to her baby girl, the supermodel participated in Versace's fall/winter 2021 fashion show in full stride.
Gigi opened the luxury Italian label's presentation wearing a black skirt suit, a low-cut corset top and chunky boots along with a matching red bag and gloves.
She also wore striking blue eyeliner and long straight hair.
Versace's latest show was inspired by Greca motif and also an introduction to the label's new signature print that features a geometric pattern with sharp angles and clean lines to represent "power and self-confidence," as described in one of the brand's Instagram posts.
The label said: "The iconic Greca is reinvented for Fall-Winter 2021 as a dynamic and immersive 3D maze that feels like you can step right into it."
Other familiar faces in the show include Gigi's sister, Bella Hadid, as well as Precious Lee.
While this was Gigi's first return to the runway, it isn't her first time back in the spotlight. In February, she also stunned on Vogue Magazine's March 2021 cover, her first since giving birth to her daughter Khai Hadid Malik.
The model shared her experience with having a natural birth with Vogue, saying, "There definitely was a point where I was like, I wonder what it would be like with an epidural, how it would be different. My midwife looked at me and was like, 'You're doing it. No one can help you. You're past the point of the epidural anyway, so you'd be pushing exactly the same way in a hospital bed.'"
