Diane von Furstenberg shares inspiring swimsuit post: 'Selfie at 75?'
Diane von Furstenberg captured the internet's attention this week with a fresh-faced swimsuit selfie.
The iconic fashion designer posted a photo of herself on Wednesday wearing a red one-piece look along with a watch and several bracelets.
"Selfie at 75?" she wrote in the caption.
"Trying to own it and 2 hours of daily swimming helps!" she continued. "I know I should smile but I feel stupid smiling at myself! Gratitude."
The post has since amassed more than 19,000 likes, as well as hundreds of endearing comments.
"Fearless & Beautiful," legendary model Iman wrote.
Famed filmmaker and producer Ava DuVernay chimed in as well. "Stunning and sensational," she wrote.
This isn't the first time von Furstenberg has shared a swimsuit selfie. In January 2021, the designer posted an Instagram photo of herself in a dark green one-piece, writing in the caption, "Am I crazy to post this?"
"Own your age ...it's proof you have lived," she added. "Love to everyone."
Von Furstenberg previously opened up to "Good Morning America" in March 2021 while discussing her book, "Own It: The Secret of Life," emphasizing the importance of "owning who you are."
"You own your imperfections, you own your assets, you own your vulnerability and it becomes your strength," she said at the time.
She continued, "...I realized to own it is really the secret to life."
