Ariana Grande posts rare photo of natural curls
Ariana Grande ditched her signature pin-straight ponytail recently, donning a natural, curly haired look for the launch of her new body care line.
The "Thank U, Next" singer posted a promotional video on social media Sunday for her God is a Woman body line, which dropped at Ulta and includes her previously released fragrance line of the same name.
In the video, Grande is seen fresh-faced, sitting in a bathtub, pulling her naturally curly hair up into a ponytail.
"After seven+ years of creating fragrances, I'm beyond excited to announce that today we have finally launched our very first full body collection!!!!!" she wrote in the caption on Instagram.
"I am so excited and proud of this step and of all that we've created thus far," she added. "It will never get old to me when people tell me that they love our fragrances or when I smell them on someone and they say 'thanks, it's yours!'. :) It's an honor to create things and to then see you enjoy them in every / any capacity. So thank you."
Since posting, Grande's video has garnered more than 21 million views and more than 2.5 million likes on Instagram, and hundreds of thousands of views and likes on TikTok.
On TikTok, users raved over Grande's natural curls, leaving comments like "THE CURLSS," and "NATURAL HAIR 🥺🥺 I'M CRYING! OMG."
This isn't the first time Grande has shown off her curls.
In 2020, her natural mane made an appearance in a photo on her since-deactivated Twitter account, along with the caption, "get a load a dis." Fans were also excited to see her curls in a 2019 Instagram stories clip.
Grande's new body collection includes a body scrub soufflé, body oil, hand and body cream, and a deluxe travel-sized version of her God Is A Woman fragrance. The line was "developed with clean, vegan, sustainably sourced, beautiful ingredients ie: coconut oil, shea butter, argan oil and lots of love," according to the singer's Instagram post.
