The The SalviSoul Cookbook is written by Karla Tatiana Vásquez, a Salvadoran‑American food writer, recipe developer and food stylist based in Los Angeles.
Vásquez founded SalviSoul as a project to document and preserve her family’s recipes and the culinary stories. The cookbook features 80 recipes and narratives from 25 Salvadoran women, celebrating traditions and memories.
Beyond the amazing SalviSoul project, we are also highlighting the recent launch of the beauty kit called Iconic Latina.
This kit encompasses the most popular trends in Latina culture, which include slicked back hair, a classic red lip, and of course, gold hoop earrings.
This collaboration came together with the help of Ceremonia founder Babba Rivera, actress and MAED founder Denise Vasi, and Emmy Award-winning host and LA VOÛTE founder Adrienne Bailon-Houghton.
Rivera and Vasi also shared why Latino representation in the beauty space is important and gave advice for future entrepreneurs.
