'Cars' characters get new NASCAR looks ahead of Daytona 500
The Daytona 500 takes place on Sunday, Feb. 14, and to mark the big race, Disney and Pixar are celebrating "Cars Week" and debuting some new NASCAR-inspired looks for your favorite "Cars" characters.
The all-new toys from Mattel feature such racers as Lightning McQueen, Jackson Storm, Mater, Luigi and Guido in die-cast vehicles that are ready to go. Each one comes with a pit-stop barrier and crew members each come with their own stack of tires for lightning-fast pit stops.
What's more, some of the coolest and notable NASCAR drivers such as Joey Logano, Austin Dillon, Willian Byron, Ryan Blaney, Chase Elliott and Danny Suarez have also been transformed into die-cast cars, which will be released in coming months.
You can visit Walmart.com for "Cars" toys that are available now and to keep an eye out for more additions throughout the year. The new vehicles are sold separately and available in stores nationwide, and are subject to availability.
And be sure to watch the Disney/Pixar "Cars" films and shorts on Disney+.
Disney is the parent company of Pixar, Disney+ and ABC News.
