April 28, 2014 — -- George Clooney has yet to speak publicly amid the rumors he's engaged to girlfriend Amal Alamuddin. Regardless, everyone is wondering who this woman is that could possibly have locked down one of the most eligible Hollywood bachelors.
While Clooney's rep added that he doesn't comment on his client's personal life, what is certain is Alamuddin is unlike anyone the actor has dated before.
Since their first outing together in London last October, followed by a private White House screening of one of his latest movies, there's been no denying that Clooney, 52, is smitten with Alamuddin, 36.
She's met some of his celebrity friends like Emily Blunt and John Krasinski and taken a trip to Tanzania with Clooney earlier this year, according to People.

According to her work profile, Alamuddin, 36, is a lawyer, specializing in international law. She is a graduate of the New York University School of Law and in 2011, she started representing WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange in his fight against extradition.
This exotic beauty is Oxford-educated (St. Hugh's College) and fluent in French and Arabic, her profile states.
Alamuddin "is the co-editor (with David Tolbert and Nidal Jurdi) of a book entitled "The Law and Practice of the Special Tribunal for Lebanon." She is also the author of several book chapters and articles on international criminal law published by Oxford University Press," her profile states.
Last year, Alamuddin topped the "21 HOTTEST BARRISTERS IN LONDON" list for women, created by Your Barrister Boyfriend.
A barrister officially is a member of one of the two classes of lawyer and they specialize in courtroom advocacy, drafting legal pleadings, and giving expert legal opinions.
Aside from dating George, Alamuddin reportedly isn't an actress or model like many of the women Clooney has dated in the past. His recent ex Stacy Keibler was a professional wrestler, actress and model.
He was also married to "Touched by an Angel" star Talia Balsam from 1989 to 1993.
