Chris Brown Arrested for Violating Probation
March 14, 2014 — -- Chris Brown has been arrested, ABC News has confirmed.
According to KABC, the singer, 24, was taken into custody for violating his probation stemming from the 2009 assault charge against singer, Rihanna.
A representative for Brown had no comment on the arrest.

Brown had been ordered to spend time in an anger-management program for a few months, pending the verdict of a concurrent though unrelated legal issue in Washington, D.C.
Last October, Brown and his bodyguard were accused of assaulting a man in the wee hours of the morning outside of a local nightclub.

According to a police report, Brown hurled a homophobic slur at a man before saying, "I feel like boxing," and punching him.
Brown has pleaded not guilty and the charges were reduced to a misdemeanor at a previous hearing.
