Bill Cosby's Walk of Fame Star Vandalized with Word 'Rapist'
— -- Someone took the Bill Cosby allegations into their own hand and the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce is not happy about the situation.
After someone wrote "Rapist" three times on Cosby's Walk of Fame star, the chamber released a statement.
"The Hollywood Walk of Fame is an institution celebrating the positive contributions of the inductees," it read. "When people are unhappy with one of our honorees, we would hope that they would project their anger in more positive ways then to vandalize a California State landmark."
Here is what the star looked like earlier in the day.
The chamber added that the star was "being clean up at this time."
The star has since been cleaned a bit, but the writing can still be seen.
Over the past few weeks, the allegations of sexual assault have mounted against the 77-year-old comedian. Upwards of 20 women have come forward with stories of alleged abuse.
The fallout from the allegations include "The Cosby Show" being pulled from TV Land and the Navy pulled his honorary chief title.
Even though some of these claims date back decades, the LAPD has said, "We don’t turn people away because things are out of statute. You come to us, especially with a sexual allegation, you know we will work with you."
Cosby and his team have always denied the allegations. He filed a lawsuit Thursday alleging that one of his accusers, Judy Huth, is lying.
According to Cosby’s lawsuit, Huth “unsuccessfully tried to sell her story to the tabloids nearly a decade ago.”
The documents claim that Huth's story falls apart when she alleges that she and the comedian "engaged in a drinking game" in which they "both consumed three beers." Cosby’s attorney, Marty Singer, states in the suit, "It is a well-known, and easily verifiable, that Mr. Cosby is a life-long non-drinker."
