Amanda Bynes 'Doing Great at School,' Excited for Fashion Line
— -- It's been some time since Amanda Bynes has been in the public eye and for good reason. She's focused on school and creating her own clothing line.
The former child actress is attending the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising in Los Angeles and her attorney Tamar Arminak tells ABC News she's doing great.
“She is happy and healthy, and doing great at school. She is focusing on her very own fashion line which is shaping up to be amazing," Arminak said.
In 2013 and 2014, Bynes was in and out of trouble for erratic behavior, including starting a fire in a driveway in Thousand Oaks in 2013. Those incidents resulted in multiple stints in the hospital on psychiatric holds. Her parents eventually had to step in as guardians.
Another of Bynes' lawyers, David Esquibias, says that is all behind the actress.
Esquibias said she is "enjoying school and thriving creatively," according to People magazine.
Bynes, who turns 30 on Sunday, herself has taken to Twitter in recent months, posting happy, smiling photos that remind fans of the girl from hits like "Easy A" and "What a Girl Wants."
Just last month, she posted a pic of her new haircut.
"What do you think?" she wrote.
