1 year after shark attack, Ali Truwit is preparing to swim in Paralympics

In May 2023, Truwit, then 22, was attacked by a shark while on vacation in Turks and Caicos. A little more than a year later, she's preparing to head to Paris to compete in the 2024 Paralympic Games.
