The September full moon, commonly known as the harvest moon, is almost here, bringing a fiery burst of energy as the fall season gets underway.
Celebrity astrologer Kyle Thomas, who is known for his cosmic guidance for celebrities, businesses and online influencers, spoke to "Good Morning America" about what the September full moon could mean for each zodiac sign.
But first, here's what to know about this month's harvest moon.
When can you see the full harvest moon?
The harvest moon will reach its peak on Saturday, Sept. 26, at 12:49 p.m. ET, according to the U.S. Naval Observatory.
The moon will appear full for several nights around its peak, giving skywatchers a chance to see it after sunset.
Why is it called the harvest moon?
The harvest moon is the full moon that occurs closest to the autumnal equinox, according to The Old Farmer's Almanac.
For several evenings around the harvest moon, the moon rises shortly after sunset, providing extra moonlight early in the evening. Traditionally, the additional light helped farmers work later to harvest their crops.
The harvest moon typically occurs in September but can fall in October, depending on when the full moon occurs in relation to the autumnal equinox.
The September full moon is also traditionally known as the corn moon, a name associated with the fall harvest season. In 2026, the Sept. 26 full moon is both the corn moon and the harvest moon.
What zodiac sign is the harvest moon in September?
The zodiac sign of each full moon is determined by its position in the night sky relative to the astrological signs. Each year, the moon shifts, bringing different characteristics to each full moon, according to Thomas.
This year's harvest moon will occur in Aries, a fire sign and the first sign of the zodiac.
Thomas said Aries energy is associated with momentum, enthusiasm and passion and could inspire people to pursue new directions or goals.
"Aries is the first zodiac sign on the wheel, encouraging us to be courageous and take chances," Thomas said. "Aries energy is fiery, confident and adventurous and focuses us on our innermost desires."
Thomas said the full moon's planetary alignments could also heighten emotions and bring unexpected developments, transformation and a desire for personal success.

Because Aries is a fire sign, Thomas said incorporating fire or physical movement into full moon rituals can help people tap into the sign's energetic nature.
That could include lighting candles while focusing on an intention or incorporating movement through activities such as dancing, walking or hiking.
Thomas also recommends focusing on a specific goal while performing a repeated physical action as a way to symbolize moving closer toward that intention.

"Listen to your natural rhythms and if you're able to take some time off for some rest and relaxation, go for it," Thomas said. "You may also have a turning point around a project in development. This full moon could also give you the strength to heal your past, let go and move on."
Gemini (May 21 - June 20)

"The full moon is firing you up to be seen, heard and known!" Thomas said. Thomas said the full moon could bring a major turning point involving your ambitions and professional life, particularly goals you've been working toward over the past six months.
"A promotion, new job offer, milestone or recognition could be right around the corner," he added.
Leo (July 23 - Aug. 22)

Thomas said the full moon could encourage you to step outside your comfort zone, explore new experiences and look at life from a different perspective.
"You may now be reaching a turning point or culmination around an international business or travel endeavor or in regards to academics, spirituality, media or legalities," he said.
Virgo (Aug. 23 - Sept. 22)
Love and money are in focus, Virgo.
Thomas said the full moon could encourage you to assess the strength of your relationships and have honest conversations if you're not on the same page.
The full moon could also bring "a big shift to your assets, investments and large money matters," he added.
Libra (Sept. 23 - Oct. 22)
A relationship shift could be ahead, Libra.
"The full moon is bringing dramatic change to your significant partnership in business or love," Thomas said. "This could bring you closer together, such as allowing you to move in, make long-term promises, get engaged or even being wed. Yet, if you're not on the same page, you’re likely to face the music and go your separate ways."
Scorpio (Oct. 23 - Nov. 21)

Thomas said the full moon could put your work-life balance front and center as you juggle responsibilities, projects and priorities.
"You could be polishing off a big project for your employer or even leaving one job for the next," he said.

According to Thomas, the full moon could "bring you a rapture of passion, romance and joy. Singles may cross paths with a soulmate or find that they’re falling in love. Couples can use this energy to reignite their spark, so plan something fun and sizzling!"

"A big change could be at hand in regards to family, home or real estate," Thomas said, adding that could mean moving, getting a new roommate, redecorating or renovating. Family or parental matters could also require your attention.

"The full moon will bring shifts around income and expense," Thomas said.
Depending on your financial decisions over the past several months, those changes could become clearer now.
"A raise, new job offer, lucrative client or side hustle could appear," Thomas added. "If not, expect a hefty expense where you'll have to sign on the dotted line."
