Wine, cheese and Dolly Parton-themed advent calendars hitting holiday shelves
It may not be looking a lot like Christmas just yet, but Aldi and Williams-Sonoma are getting in the holiday spirit with new advent calendars.
Aldi
Wine and cheese fans rejoice. Aldi confirmed to "Good Morning America" that "the highly sought-after Aldi advent calendars are back for 2021" and shared a sneak preview of the two cult-favorites.
Shoppers can snag and sip on the 2021 collection wine advent calendar featuring new wine varieties at a $10 price drop from last season. The calendars are now priced at $59.99 and available starting Nov. 3 at ALDI U.S. stores that sell alcohol.
Aldi also announced its emporium selection cheese advent calendar will also be back. In the past it has included 24 pieces of imported cheese that sell for $15.
More calendars will continue to launch throughout the month of November and December as Aldi counts down to the holidays.
The full line-up of other advent calendars will be revealed in October along with pricing and on-sale dates, the company said.
Williams-Sonoma
A new Dolly Parton holiday collection will be available at the kitchenware retailer, including an advent calendar.
Fans of the 75-year-old singer can purchase her festive holiday calendar and enjoy a treat each day ahead of Christmas curated by Parton herself.
The calendar is filled with 24 individually-wrapped candies like caramels, sugar sanded gummy trees and sour santas retails for $39.95.
