YouTube reveals its top Valentine's Day love songs and breakup anthems

YouTube has released a list of the top love songs that receive a spike on the romantic holiday year after year.
Number one on the list is “I’ll Make Love to You” by Boyz II Men, which saw a 94 percent jump on Valentine’s Day in 2018. Next on the list is Celine Dion’s “Because You Loved Me,” followed by Elton John’s “Can You Feel the Love Tonight.”
Rounding out the top five are Shania Twain’s “You’re Still the One” and Bruno Mars’ “Just the Way You Are.”
Other songs that see a spike on Valentine’s Day include Whitney Houston’s “I Will Always Love You,” Bryan Adams’ “(Everything I Do) I Do It for You” and John Legend’s “All of Me.”
YouTube also released a list of the songs most frequently added to breakup playlists over the last year.
The top three are Beyonce’s “Irreplaceable,” Rihanna’s “Take a Bow” and Sam Smith’s “Too Good at Goodbyes.”
Breakup classics like Kelly Clarkson’s “Since U Been Gone,” Taylor Swift’s “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together” and Adele’s “Someone Like You” also make the list.
