This woman made her own live-action 'Tangled' and we are hair for it
YouTuber Sarah Ingle made her own live-action version of Disney’s “Tangled” and we are totally hair for it!
The magical two-minute trailer took Ingle, a self-described "friendly neighborhood Disney Princess living in a modern world," six months to bring to life.
“There were a lot of things pieced together from green screen and special effects, all the way to the glowing hair. That was an ordeal,” Ingle told “Good Morning America.”
The final product, including footage she shot herself in Vail, Colorado, features classic Rapunzel elements like the tower:
The iconic glowing lanterns:
And of course, Rapunzel’s long, long, long locks:
"I like to imagine that if Rapunzel was in modern times she would have the best Instagram," Ingle said.
Speaking of social media, Ingle’s followers call her the "IRL Disney Princess."
She has transformed into everyone from Belle and Cinderella to Elsa and Anna, and of course her favorite, Rapunzel.
“I got into princessing originally because I grew up doing musical theater and it was a way for me to still get a chance to perform,” said Ingle.
Now her passion for princessing extends to creating fairytale lifestyle content, from makeup tutorials and Disney song covers, to portraying princesses at children’s birthday parties and charity events.
Ingle’s live-action “Tangled” began as a Rapunzel makeup tutorial.
“It wasn’t intended to be a live-action 'Tangled,' it was supposed to be the intro for a makeup tutorial,” Ingle told “GMA.” “It just kept evolving and growing because I’m way too extra.”
Ingle said she has never done anything like this before and hopes her fans love it as much as she does.
“I hope it does inspire girls and boys alike that anything you can imagine you can make it happen.”
Disney is the parent company of ABC and Good Morning America.
