Whitney Leavitt says she's leaving 'The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives'
Whitney Leavitt says she will exit the reality TV show "The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives," on which she rose to fame.
Leavitt made the announcement Tuesday in an Instagram video, saying to the camera, "I am leaving 'The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives.'"
Leavitt, who has starred on "The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives" since its debut in 2024, said that season five of the show, which is currently in production, will be her last.

"I have experienced so much with this group of women, and in that process, I've also learned so much about myself," she said in the video, later adding, "I wouldn't change a thing."
Hulu, on which "The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives" airs, has not yet commented on Leavitt's announcement.
Her announcement comes two days after she hinted at her exit while performing in her final show of "Chicago" on Sunday on Broadway.
During a scene in which her character, Roxie Hart, reads a newspaper headline, Leavitt reads the headline as, "Whitney Leavitt announces she is leaving 'The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives,'" according to video obtained by TMZ.
After reading the headline, Leavitt turned to look at the crowd, which erupted in cheers.
Leavitt posted on Instagram Saturday about her final show as Roxie Hart, writing, "closing night is tomorrow & I’m just feeling a roller coaster of emotions right now 😭 never let anyone convince you your dream is impossible. Do the work to make it happen ✨I love you guys sm! Thank you for everything!!!! xx- Roxie Hart."
Leavitt, a mom of three, debuted in "Chicago" in early February. Her run on the show was extended by several weeks after experiencing early success, including leading "Chicago" to its highest-grossing week in the show's 30-year history.
Amid her success on Broadway, Leavitt told "Good Morning America" in early April that she was still deciding what her future looked like on "The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives."
"We're figuring it out in real-time. I don't really know," Leavitt said at the time. "I feel sometimes that it's like time to venture out. Like, this is what I'm passionate about."
Prior to her role on Broadway, Leavitt was a breakout star on season 34 of "Dancing with the Stars."
She also announced in December that she would star in and executive produce her first film, titled "All For Love."
"I'm ready for the next chapter and I cannot wait to share with you guys what's next," Leavitt said Tuesday.
