James Mangold's "Ford v. Ferrari," Martin Scorsese's "The Irishman," Taika Waititi's "Jojo Rabbit," Todd Phillips' "Joker," Sam Mendes' "1917," Quentin Tarantino's "Once Upon a Time in Hollywood" and Bong Joon Ho's "Parasite" are also nominated in the category.
