Liam Hemsworth: Five Things to Know About Miley's Man
March 26, 2012— -- As one of the stars in the blockbuster film "The Hunger Games," Liam Hemsworth is quickly becoming known as more than just Miley Cyrus' boyfriend.
"I've had a bunch of marriage proposals," he told ABC News' "Nightline" about the eager fans throwing themselves at him. "I think I actually said yes to a few by accident. Just nerves. I was like, 'Yeah, I will. I will. I don't know you, but I'll do it.' So, it's been a little funny."
But the latest buzz is whether Hemsworth has made a proposal of his own. Cyrus has recently been spotted rocking a giant diamond sparkler on her ring finger.

The singing sensation sent out a recent tweet about her manicure to her 5.2 million followers on Twitter -- "obsessed with @jennahipp nail foundations!" -- but failed to mention the giant rock on her finger.
She was spotted wearing the same sparkler on her ring finger at a charity event over the weekend.
Cyrus' rep did not respond to ABCNews.com's request for comment but a source close to the couple told People they are not engaged.
Whether or not there's a wedding in the works for Cyrus, 19, and Hemsworth, 22, you may want to get up to speed on who's Miley's main man. Here are five things to know about him:
He Hails From Down Under
Hemsworth is relatively new to American movie-goers, but in his native Australia, he became a heartthrob after appearing in two television series, "Neighbours" and "The Elephant Girl." He is also known as the younger brother of Chris Hemsworth, who played "Thor" in the 2011 flick of the same name.
Cyrus and Hemsworth Met on the Set
His first exposure to American audiences, and his main squeeze for that matter, was in 2009, when they starred together in "The Last Song." Hemsworth played Will Blakelee, the love interest of Cyrus' character Ronnie Miller. Off screen, the pair dated from September 2009 to August 2010, with Cyrus referring to Hemsworth as "my first serious boyfriend. Hemsworth's PR rep confirmed their split in August 2010.
Cyrus and Hemsworth Share a Dog
They reportedly rekindled their romance in April 2011 and took it a step further -- adopting an English bulldog puppy they named Ziggy. Their relationship has been going strong ever since, with Cyrus and Hemsworth often appearing hand-in-hand on the red carpet. Hemsworth recently told Ryan Seacrest that his girlfriend is happy to his star rising. "She's one of the biggest stars in the world, there's no shadowing her," Hemsworth told Seacrest. "She embraces it, she's very very happy for me."
Hemsworth Has Athletic Skills Too
If he were to have to fight in the real Hunger Games, Hemsworth said he has some natural skills he could bring to the competition. "I was always a really fast runner in high school," Hemsworth said. "I used to do 100 meter sprints, and I feel like that'd probably be a pretty good skill to have in the arena, just run the entire time." Hemsworth plays Gale Hawthorne, the best friend and hunting partner of Katniss Everdeen, played by Jennifer Lawrence.
To prepare for the part, he had to curb his new addiction to White Castle, introduced to him by co-star Josh Hutcherson. "My brother texted me about a month out before we started shooting. I guess he heard that I was eating too much and had gained some weight so he said, 'It's called Hunger Games, not Eating Games.' So I took that to heart, started training a lot and eating a lot less and lost quite a bit of weight," he said.
Who Would Win in a Hunger Games Battle Between Hemsworth and Cyrus?
"Probably her," Hemsworth said, standing on the black carpet alongside Cyrus at last Monday's massive Hunger Games premiere in L.A. "She's a tough girl, that one."
