Solange drops new album 'When I Get Home' and the internet can't handle it
Solange released a new album, "When I Get Home," Friday at midnight, tweeting "play the whole thing thruu," with a link to the album.
The 19-track record is only 39 minutes long and was released after a savvy promotional push that included her teasing the new record on the social network website BlackPlanet.
On Twitter, fans were quick to react.
"So far Solange hasn't had a song be a miss on here, it has deada** been hit after hit. AND THE TRANSITIONS, HUN," wrote one user.
Another gushed, "Solange wasn't playing, every song on this album goes."
"Intellectuals when they finish listening to the new #Solange" read another tweet with a GIF of Willow Smith growing a third eye.
One tweet observed, "Every time you see the explicit lyric tag on the Solange track that sh** slaps like a comet hit."
Yet another user pleaded for Solange to branch out into composing for movies, writing, "Can Solange pls score a movie like my GOD."
The new album is the follow-up to Solange's 2016 release, "A Seat at the Table."
