'Selling Sunset' star Chrishell Stause on her split: 'Men have the luxury of time'
"Selling Sunset" star Chrishell Stause has broken her silence about the recent split from her co-star, Jason Oppenheim.
In a statement shared to Instagram Monday, Stause explained that she and Oppenheim were not aligned on their ideas for the future.
Stause has been open in the past about wanting to have children some day.
"Men have the luxury of time that women don't and that's just the way it goes," she wrote in her statement. "I very much hope to one day have a family and decisions I make at this point are with that goal in mind. Thank you for the kindness and support to those that understand."
Stause, 40, and Oppenheim, a real estate broker and the owner of The Oppenheim Group in West Hollywood, were first linked in July when they were photographed together in Italy. Oppenheim, 44, soon after confirmed their relationship, telling Us Weekly, "I care about her deeply and we're very happy together."
The two remain close, according to Stause's statement.
"Thank you Jason for the most incredible relationship and for consistently being honest with me even when it hurts," she wrote.
