The 98th Academy Awards played host to several big cast reunions on Sunday, from "Moulin Rouge" to "The Avengers," "Bridesmaids" and more.

Kicking them off was a moment inspired by the 2006 comedy/drama film "The Devil Wears Prada," which starred Anne Hathaway as Andy Sachs, Emily Blunt as Emily Charlton, and Meryl Streep as Miranda Priestly, a character inspired by longtime Vogue editor Anna Wintour.

Hathaway and Wintour presented the Oscars for best costume design and best makeup and hairstyling on Sunday night, and although Wintour was technically not in the 2006 film, she channeled the fictional editor-in-chief throughout the presentation, donning her and Miranda's trademark dark sunglasses and even calling Hathaway "Emily," a callback to Miranda's tendency to forget her junior assistants' names in the movie, calling all of them the senior assistant's name instead.

Marvel stars Robert Downey Jr. and Chris Evans, who played two of the core "Avengers" superheroes, Iron Man and Captain America, also reunited to hand out the Oscars for best original screenplay and best adapted screenplay.

As Downey started to discuss the importance of a script in any movie, Evans interrupted him to ask him what he had gotten him for their "anniversary," referring to the 14th anniversary of "The Avengers."

"I got you a signed copy of the original script, signed by the whole cast … I really thought this through," Evans said, as Downey jokingly presented him with his Oscars valet ticket before snatching it back.

Downey later stepped off stage and returned to offer Evans the sparkly underwear featured in Channing Tatum's movie "Magic Mike."

Tatum yelled jokingly from the audience that he would need the underwear back "for work later."

As the show continued, the cast reunions kept coming, with Billy Crystal leading an emotional and star-studded tribute to late director and actor Rob Reiner and his wife Michelle Reiner, who were found stabbed to death in their Los Angeles home on Dec. 14, 2025.

The couple's son Nick Reiner has pleaded not guilty to murder charges and is being held without bail.

Over a dozen of Rob Reiner's past collaborators joined Crystal onstage, including actresses Meg Ryan, Demi Moore, Annette Bening, and Kathy Bates, as well as actors Kiefer Sutherland, Mandy Patinkin, Fred Savage and Jerry O'Connell.

Later in the awards show, the cast of the 2011 comedy "Bridesmaids" reunited onstage, including Maya Rudolph, Kristen Wiig, Rose Byrne, Melissa McCarthy and Ellie Kemper.

The actresses celebrated the 15-year anniversary of their movie and presented the Oscars for best original score and achievement in sound, all while also reading funny "messages" from the celebrity audience members.

Wendi McLendon-Covey, who played Rita in "Bridesmaids," was missing from the Oscars reunion, and later, the actress shared the reason behind her absence in an Instagram post.

"In response to some of the dms I'm getting: I had a neck lift last week because I'm tired of looking like a melting candle. So I had to skip the Academy Awards," she wrote alongside a photo of herself with a bandage around her head. "No drama. Everything is fine. 😘."

McGregor and Kidman presented the Oscar for best picture, the night's most coveted award, which ultimately went to "One Battle After Another."
