Khloe Kardashian Hangs with James Harden: 5 Things to Know About NBA Star
— -- Khloe Kardashian may have a new friend in James Harden. The reality star has reportedly been hanging out with the basketball pro and were spotted both partying in Las Vegas for July 4, according to People magazine. While nothing has been confirmed by either of them, here are five things to know about Harden.
You'll quickly find out that Harden is as much of an incredibly humble, class act and good guy as he is an NBA star.
1 - He's Younger
Khloe is only 31, but Harden is actually 25. The basketball star was born in 1989; he stands at 6'5 and rocks a mean beard.
2 - Houston Baller
Harden is the shooting guard for the Houston Rockets and was picked third overall in the 2009 NBA draft by Oklahoma City. Last year, Harden had back-to-back 40 point games and is known to drop a triple-double on several occasions. Harden finished second in scoring last year behind only Russell Westbrook. He average 27.4 points per game and 7 assists. One word — baller.
3 - Cover Story
Harden tweeted last month that it was a "Tremendous honor to grace cover of #NBA2K16!" Khloe may be on the cover of magazines in her own right, but Harden is no slouch himself.
4 - He's All About Giving Back
No, really, he is ALL about giving back. Harden, someone other NBA stars should model themselves after, posts a lot on Instagram about working as a mentor to young kids and volunteering. Plus, he genuinely enjoys helping others.
"Very proud of my brother @zo_11 on his mentorship program helping and inspiring kids to follow a journey and believing! #YouthProgram #KidsAreTheFuture," he wrote last year.
He also volunteered for Thanksgiving.
"Happy Thanksgiving to everyone! Today I had the privilege to serve 75+ men, women and children.. Thanks to my beautiful mother friends and teammates for helping me put this together. Im blessed and thankful I am in a position to be able to help," he wrote.
5 - Doesn't Forget Where He Came From
Harden continues his show of great character by being humble and always remembering who helped him get to the level of All-Star status.
"Happy Birthday to my Mom Dukes! My rock, my life, my everything.. I appreciate you to the fullest. I get excitement from seeing you happy and not having to worry about anything. Stay blessed and sweet. Love you MOMS!!!!" he wrote last year.
He also was honored to have his college jersey retired at Arizona State.
