Katy Perry, Lionel Richie and more guests arrive in style at King Charles III’s coronation
As the coronation for King Charles III began to take place on May 6 at Westminster Abbey in London, a slew of celebrities, world leaders and dignitaries were spotted arriving.
Performers Katy Perry and Lionel Richie, who are performing in Sunday's coronation concert, were in attendance, as well as actress Emma Thompson.
Also in attendance are first lady Dr. Jill Biden, who arrived with her granddaughter, Finnegan Biden, to represent the United States, as well as Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and Ukrainian first lady Olena Zelenska.

Katy Perry was among the familiar faces who arrived at the ceremony in style wearing a head-turning light purple fascinator with matching dress and gloves. The chic look which included a knee-length midi skirt and short sleeve fitted waist blazer also was accessorized with a lilac flower, pearl necklace and a white handbag.
The singer is set to perform at the coronation concert on Sunday, May 7, alongside Lionel Richie, who also appeared at the historical event on Saturday.
