Kanye West to Tour for First Time in Three Years for 'Saint Pablo'

— -- Kanye West is returning to the concert stage for the first time in three years.

The multiple Grammy winner will kick off his "The Saint Pablo Tour" on August 25 at Banker’s Life Arena in Indianapolis, Indiana. The tour will visit nearly 40 cities across the United States and Canada, with stops in New York City, Los Angeles, Toronto, Chicago, Montreal, Detroit, Washington D.C. and Miami.

West's newest tour will feature songs from his number one album, "The Life of Pablo," which made history when it debuted in February at the top of the Billboard 200 album chart based on streaming only.

The album generated controversy soon after its release when Taylor Swift took issue with the lyrics in one of the songs, "Famous." In the song, the rapper alludes to the possibility of a sexual encounter with the pop star. Swift’s spokesperson told ABC News that "Kanye did not call for approval, but to ask Taylor to release his single 'Famous' on her Twitter account. She declined and cautioned him about releasing a song with such a strong, misogynistic message."

Tickets for "The Saint Pablo Tour" go on sale Saturday, June 18, but American Express card members can buy tickets starting today and members of the music streaming service TIDAL can purchase tickets early on Thursday.
