Jennifer Aniston Speaks Out About 'Cake' Oscar Snub
— -- Jennifer Aniston went into Thursday's Oscar nominations with a lot of momentum and buzz for her performance in "Cake."
But the nomination didn't come and the megastar was very candid about her reaction to the snub.
"I'd be lying if there wasn't a little aw," she told Access Hollywood on Thursday at the Critics' Choice Awards.
But the "Friends" actress, 45, preferred to look on the bright side and the fact she's been nominated for other awards and is still proud of the critically acclaimed role.
"But after that there's a lot of like, 'But look at tonight, look at the Globes, look at the SAGs!'" Aniston said. "We're an embarrassment of wonderful riches that we've [gotten for] a movie that hasn't even been released and is teensy tiny. This is all just kind of cherries on top of something that was really special to us. So we're really excited."
Aniston said that close friend Reese Witherspoon, who was nominated, sent her a sweet email after the Oscar list came out.
"They are amazing women and we are all rooting for each other," she added. "It doesn't take away the work that was done."
