Inside Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin's 'Casual' Lunch Date in Montauk
— -- They may have announced their split in March, but Chris Martin and Gwyneth Paltrow said all along they planned to remain friends.
Looks like they are doing just that.
A source tells ABC News that the couple enjoyed lunch in Montauk, N.Y., at Joni's Kitchen on Friday and "sat down at the picnic tables" at the restaurant for a "relaxed meal."

"Gwyneth was make-up free" and the two seemed casual and relaxed.
Paltrow looked beautiful in jean shorts, a fedora and a gray tank top and the kids were not with them, the source adds.
After lunch, the two enjoyed a walk on the beach.
The former power couple announced their split on March 25, saying "It is with hearts full of sadness that we have decided to separate," Paltrow wrote in a post titled, "Conscious Uncoupling."
"We have been working hard for well over a year, some of it together, some of it separated, to see what might have been possible between us, and we have come to the conclusion that while we love each other very much we will remain separate," she added.
The two vowed to work together as friends for their children Apple, 10, and Moses, 8.
