Hollywood's biggest party of the year is just hours away!

The 83rd annual Golden Globes will take place on Sunday night, honoring the best in television, film and podcasting, as determined by the Hollywood Foreign Press Association. 

The first of this year's honors went to actresses Sarah Jessica Parker and Dame Helen Mirren on Thursday night, when they were honored on the Golden Eve primetime special.

Actors who are nominated for Golden Globes this year include Jacob Elordi, Seth Rogen, Amanda Seyfried, Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande.

The 2026 Golden Globes will take place Sunday, Jan. 11, at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT.

The ceremony will take place in Los Angeles at The Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills.

The Golden Globes will air live on CBS. The awards ceremony will also stream live on Paramount+.

Comedian and actress Nikki Glaser returns for the second year in a row to host the 2026 Golden Globes. 

Following her debut as Golden Globes host last year, critics lauded Glaser's approach to the event, with Rolling Stone even reporting that she "redeem[ed] the Golden Globes opening monologue" and kept things "just spicy enough."

"There's lots to joke about this year -- and the star power in the room is going to be bigger than ever. I mean, it's bigger than last year," Glaser told People in December at The Hollywood Reporter's Annual Women in Entertainment Gala. "I kind of have to keep wrapping my head around the kind of people that are going to be present in this room."

Who are the presenters?

The 2026 Golden Globes presenters come from an array of backgrounds across the entertainment industry.

The star-studded lineup presenting at this year's ceremony includes some of the biggest names in music, film and television, including George Clooney, Miley Cyrus and Kevin Hart.

Stars presenting on Sunday evening also include Ana de Armas, Charli xcx, Dave Franco, Jason Bateman, Jennifer Garner, Julia Roberts, Kevin Bacon, Kyra Sedgwick, Snoop Dogg, Will Arnett, Pamela Anderson, Dakota Fanning, Amanda Seyfried and Ayo Edebiri.

Also included on the list of celebrity presenters are Chris Pine, Colman Domingo, Connor Storrie, Diane Lane, Hailee Steinfeld, Hudson Williams, Joe Keery, Judd Apatow, Justin Hartley, Kathryn Hahn, Keegan-Michael Key, Lalisa Manobal, Luke Grimes, Macaulay Culkin, Marlon Wayans, Melissa McCarthy, Mila Kunis, Minnie Driver, Orlando Bloom, Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Queen Latifah, Regina Hall, Sean Hayes, Wanda Sykes and Zoë Kravitz.

What films and television shows are nominated?

Paul Thomas Anderson's "One Battle After Another" leads all film categories with nine nominations, including best motion picture (musical or comedy) and best director. 

"Sentimental Value" follows close behind with eight nominations, while Ryan Coogler's "Sinners" scored seven nominations. 

Other films that are nominated include Chloé Zhao's "Hamnet," Guillermo Del Toro's "Frankenstein" and Jon M. Chu's "Wicked: For Good."

Actors who are nominated twice are Seyfried and Elordi. Other big names who are vying for a Golden Globe are Clooney, Grande, Erivo, Claire Danes, Selena Gomez, Kristen Bell, Paul Mescal and Adam Sandler.

Who are this year's first-time nominees? 

First-time nominees include Infiniti, Dwayne Johnson, Kevin Hart, Tramell Tillman, Britt Lower, Eva Victor and Monica Padman.

What is the best podcast category?

The Golden Globes will debut its new category for best podcast at the 83rd annual show. The category will honor talent in the medium, according to a press release. 

Podcasts that are nominated include "Armchair Expert with Dax Shepard," "Call Her Daddy," "Good Hang with Amy Poehler," "The Mel Robbins Podcast," "SmartLess" and "Up First from NPR."

What are some events during Golden Week?

Leading up to the 2026 Golden Globes, celebratory kick-off events will take place for what is being called Golden Week. In addition to Golden Eve, The Hollywood Reporter x Spotify Nominees Night Party will take place on Jan. 8 to celebrate the Globes' podcast category. It will feature a headlining DJ set from Mark Ronson and performances by Chaka Khan, John Legend and Miles Caton. 

The WWD Style Awards will also take place on Jan. 9 to honor Anderson, Demi Moore, Hailey Bieber and Kourtney Kardashian Barker. Clooney will also be accepting the red carpet visionary award on behalf of Giorgio Armani.
