Hilary Duff brings ex-boyfriend Joel Madden, Good Charlotte out at NYC concert
It was truly a millennial throwback moment at Hilary Duff's Madison Square Garden concert in New York City on Wednesday night.
As captured in social media posts, Duff took the stage wearing a Good Charlotte T-shirt before bringing out the band, led by twin brothers Joel and Benji Madden, to perform the Good Charlotte hit "The Anthem."
Duff and Joel Madden dated previously from 2004 to 2006.
Duff married musician Matthew Koma in 2019. The couple share three daughters, Banks, Mae and Townes.
Duff also shares a son, Luca, with former NHL player Mike Comrie, to whom she was married from 2010 to 2016.
Joel Madden married media personality, designer and actress Nicole Richie in 2010. The pair share two children, daughter Harlow and son Sparrow.
Benji Madden married actress Cameron Diaz in 2015, and the couple share three children, Raddix, Cardinal and Nautas.
The three families maintain a close relationship. Koma, Duff, Benji Madden, Joel Madden, and Richie even posted a photo of themselves backstage at Madison Square Garden on their Instagram stories Thursday, with Benji Madden captioning the snapshot "FAMILY NIGHT."
"Love y'all," he added.
