Heidi Klum, husband tested for coronavirus
Heidi Klum said she and her husband are awaiting the results of a novel -coronavirus test after the couple both got sick last week.
The "Project Runaway" host and model posted a video on her Instagram page Saturday night showing her kiss her spouse, Tokio Hotel guitarist Tom Kaulitz, through a window and explained their situation. Klum said she had been sick all week and Kaulitz, who recently returned from a tour, also fell ill.
"To be safe, we are staying apart until we get the results of our Coronavirus tests (that we were finally able to get today) back. We don’t want to spread germs and risk others getting sicker... even each other!" she wrote.
Tokio Hotel performed shows in Los Angeles, Mexico and Equador this month. Klum urged her followers to be safe and heed all warnings about the virus.
"We are all in this together and it is up to us to protect our loved ones, and our neighbors and our communities. Please listen to the officials and stay at home if you can and physically distance yourself from other people," she said.
Last week, Tom Hanks and his wife announced they had tested positive for the coronavirus while they were in Australia. The couple thanked fans and showed positive signs while they recuperated, even creating a fun playlist.
