Hank Williams Jr. marries girlfriend Brandi
Hank Williams Jr. has tied the knot again.
The country music singer wed his girlfriend Brandi over the weekend in Alabama, per a statement shared to his official Facebook page Monday.
"Please congratulate Mr. and Mrs. Hank Williams Jr! Hank and Brandi were married on Sept 9, 2023 at Enon Baptist Church in Banks, Alabama in front of a small group of family and friends. A reception followed at Kendall Hall in Troy, Alabama," the statement began.
It continued, "They had gotten engaged earlier this year on Mothers Day. The bride and groom have known each other and been friends since 2003."
This happy news comes about a year and a half after the tragic death of Williams' longtime wife Mary Jane Thomas.
Williams paid tribute to his late wife a month after her passing, writing in an Instagram post at the time that she gave him 38 "wonderful years."
"Her kind spirit and beautiful and endearing love carries on in the hearts of our son, Sam, grandsons Beau and Tennyson, and granddaughter Audrey Jane," he wrote.
Williams and Thomas also shared a daughter, Katherine, who died in 2020.
