'ER' stars George Clooney, Julianna Margulies and more to reunite for Earth Day fundraiser
After over a decade off the air, the cast of "ER" is reuniting!
On April 22, the cast of the medical drama will gather for a virtual reunion on Seth Rudetsky and James Wesley's live-streamed series, "Stars in the House," in an effort to help celebrate Earth Day and to raise funds for the Waterkeeper Alliance -- a nonprofit that focuses on protecting everyone’s right to clean water.
George Clooney, Noah Wyle, Gloria Reuben, Julianna Margulies and Anthony Edwards are among the cast members who will appear during the special.
"ER" ran for 15 seasons from 1994 until 2009, with Hulu obtaining the streaming rights in 2018.
"I am absolutely thrilled to be reuniting with my ‘ER’ family for a cause that is so close to my heart, and so grateful to Seth and James for allowing us to use their incredible platform to do so," Reuben said in a statement.
"I've been involved with Waterkeeper Alliance for fifteen years, representing over 350 community-based Waterkeepers around the globe, and the work that they do is beyond comparison," her statement continued. "We must continue to fight for clean water not just on Earth Day, but all year round!"
Fans can catch the reunion on People's Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube, as well as, People TV's Facebook and Twitter.
It will also be on the "Stars in the House" YouTube channel and starsinthehouse.com.
