Dwayne Johnson raps 'Moana' song to his daughter while washing her hands amid coronavirus
Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson used a little Maui magic to teach his daughter how to properly wash her hands amid the coronavirus pandemic and -- spoiler alert -- she absolutely loved it.
“Before my showers now, Baby Tia (mama mia) demands I sing the rap portion of my song “You’re Welcome” from MOANA, while I wash her hands,” he wrote alongside the post, referencing the 2016 Disney animated film he starred in alongside Auli'i Cravalho.
“We realized a few weeks ago that the rap portion of the song is perfect timing when getting your little ones to have fun washing their hands,” Johnson added, joking that Tiana Gia, almost 2, is telling him “just shut your mouth and sing daddy” at the beginning of the video.
The CDC recommends lathering and scrubbing your hands for at least 20 seconds, which is like singing “Happy Birthday” twice -- or, in this case, part of a “Moana” song once.
In addition to Tia, Johnson also shares daughter Jasmine, 4, with wife Lauren Hashian and is also dad to daughter Simone Alexandra, 18, with ex-wife Dany Garcia.
Disney is the parent company of ABC News and "Good Morning America."
