Coming to Disney+ in December: 'Soul' premiere, 'The Mandalorian' season 2 finale
Disney+ is adding quite a few new titles for December to finish out 2020 on a magical note.
In addition to the season 2 finale of "The Mandalorian," the streaming service will debut an original movie, "Soul," from Pixar on Christmas Day.
Pete Docter -- the Oscar-winning filmmaker of "Up" and "Inside Out" -- directs this animated film, which stars Jamie Foxx as Joe Gardner, a middle school music teacher who lost his passion for jazz. When a chance accident results in his soul separating from his body, he must find a way to reunite the two before all is lost.
Originally set to hit theaters, the movie will debut exclusively on Disney+ on Dec. 25.
For those who have yet to sign up for Disney+, the streaming service costs $6.99 per month or $69.99 per year. There is also a bundle featuring Disney+, ESPN+ and Hulu for $12.99 per month. Click here for more information.
