Ciara celebrates 28-pound weight loss following birth of 3rd child
Ciara rang in the new year by flaunting a slimmer figure after successfully shedding nearly 30 pounds of baby weight.
The "1, 2 Step" singer welcomed her third child, a son named Win, on July 23.
"Super Proud of where I am starting off 2021," Ciara celebrated on Monday, crediting WW -- formerly Weight Watchers -- for helping her lose the pregnancy weight. "Down 28 pounds thanks to @WW!!"
The Grammy-award winner, who also showed off her freshly dyed-pink hair, gave kudos to the diet app, of which she is an ambassador, for allowing her to lose weight while "juggling mommy life, work life, exercise, etc."
Ciara, 35, also relayed she is more than halfway to hitting her goal weight and shared with her nearly 27 million followers that she has "20 more lbs to go!"
Oprah, a longtime partner of WW, praised the singer's progress by cheering in the comment section, "Go CiCi, go!"
Ciara previously opened up to fans in August about wanting to shed her pregnancy weight, where she announced, "48lbs to go! Starting the game plan tomorrow!!"
She also expressed doubts about how easy the process would be considering she's had three children, but vowed at the time, "Going to work really hard at this! Let’s go Mamma’s."
In addition to 5-month-old Win, Ciara is the mom of daughter Sienna, 3, whom she shares with husband Russell Wilson. The singer is also the mother of son Future, 6, with rapper Future.
