Britney Spears says she never knows who to trust living in LA: 'It can be lonely at times'
Britney Spears has spent a lot of time out of the spotlight dealing with family issues and personal matters in recent months.
The 37-year-old singer and mother-of-two is now opening up a little about her emotional state. She recently shared a post on Instagram on her experience living in Los Angeles.
Alongside a quote card with the phrase, "Pay close attention to the people who don't clap when you win," Spears added a note on her own experience.
"Living in LA is such a trip!!! It can be lonely at times," she wrote. "You never know who to trust, and some people can be fake. I have a very small circle of friends, and simply do what makes me happy!!!"
"It breaks my heart to see the comments on my posts sometimes .... so I simply choose not to look anymore," she added. "Let the clever haters do what they do best .... hate!!!"
The singer's post was flooded with supportive comments, many from users suggesting she shouldn't pay any attention to the hate.
Spears' boyfriend, Sam Asghari, commented, "Winners don’t hate or bully, losers (haters) only do because they don’t have what you have (which is the best heart in the world)."
Spears seems to be enjoying some private time with her family as of late. She recently shared a snap with her sons Sean, 13, and Jaden, 12, during a trip to Disneyland in Anaheim, California.
"Great time at Disneyland today .... but I don’t remember ever getting that wet on splash mountain ... Geeez .... anyhow my boys are older now, so they don’t like their picture taken ever... so I was thrilled today when they said SURE !!!!!" she captioned her post.
"Such a great place !!!!!" she added.
