Adele's '30' scores No. 1 on Billboard chart, becomes year's biggest release
Adele has done it again.
To no surprise, the British singer's newest album, "30," has debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200.
This is the third No. 1 for the 33-year-old, who earned the top spot for her previous albums -- 2015's "25" and 2011's "21" -- as well.
Not only did the "Easy On Me" singer surge to the top, the album's massive success makes it the largest debut week for any album of 2021.
"30" earned 839,000 equivalent album units in the U.S. for the week ending Nov. 25, according to MRC Data, Billboard reports. This surpasses the next highest album debut, Drake's "Certified Lover Boy," which garnered 613,000 units for the week ending on Sept. 9.
Released on Nov. 19, "30" is Adele's fourth studio album and her first new album in six years.
