Linda Evangelista and her 16-year-old son, Augustin James, showed off their family resemblance while twinning in matching dark suits at the Kering Foundation's second annual Caring for Women dinner in New York.
The supermodel, who recently revealed two cancer diagnoses over the past five years, looked statuesque and sophisticated in a dark, slightly deconstructed suit featuring a long line skirt and pointy pumps to finish. Augustin followed suit – literally – in a coordinating dark velvet look that echoed his mom's. He opted for a mussed hairdo, however, while his mom sported a slicked-back hairstyle that accentuated her famous visage.
Plenty of other stars also dazzled on the event's red carpet. Oprah was radiant in a purple satin gown while posing alongside Malala Yousafzai and François-Henri Pinault, both of whom chose to dress in more traditional black-tie ensembles. Pinault, in addition to being the chairman and CEO of Kering, dated Evangelista from 2005 to 2006 and is Augustin's father.
Actress Salma Hayek Pinault, Pinault's wife of 14 years, also was there and stunned in a burgundy sequin Gucci gown, with her hair in long, tousled waves.
"All set for Caring for Women dinner tonight in New York presented by @keringfoundation supporting a cause very close to my heart. ❤️ #CaringForWomen," Hayek Pinault captioned an Instagram post detailing her look.

Her signature long, dark locks contrasted beautifully with the light-catching material of the dress.
Nicole Kidman showed off her décolletage with a fun, feathered strapless dress in a gorgeous icy blue shade. A white bow accentuated her waist while black opera gloves added plenty of drama to the bold look.
Actress and director Olivia Wilde kept things more casual with another all-black satin look, opting to echo the Evangelistas' looks with a tailored suit. Wilde chose a matching black bralette in lieu of a formal top, finishing the look with beachy blonde waves and blingy jewelry that coordinated with her strappy heels.
Once inside, award-winning journalist Lisa Ling impressed while hosting in a gorgeous, draped black gown with a matching flower detail at the neckline. She chose a sleek chignon and simple jewelry for the charitable occasion.
Christy Turlington brought her 19-year-old daughter, Grace Burns, along with her. The model twosome looked ravishing in dark ensembles with Turlington in a one-shoulder gown and Burns rocking a black velvet suit (we're sensing a trend).
The Caring for Women dinner took place at The Pool in Manhattan Tuesday night, Sept. 12, celebrating the 15th anniversary of the Kering Foundation by raising funds for non-governmental organizations addressing gender-based violence. Last year's dinner raised more than three million dollars for the cause, and this year's will see net proceeds benefit the Malala Fund, the National Network to End Domestic Violence (NNEDV), and the New York City Alliance Against Sexual Assault.
