"Like mother, like daughter" feels like the appropriate theme for some of Brooke Shield's most recent photos with her daughter Rowan.
In a series of images, the mother-daughter duo showed off new matching ladybug tattoos.
"A special graduation gift and memory with my girl," Shields captioned the gallery. "I'm so proud of you, I love you more than words can say."
Shields' tattoo was done near the inside of her wrist, while her daughter Rowan opted for the beautiful creature on her ankle.
Throughout the photo series, we also catch glimpses of the two both wearing black face masks at Stefano's Tattoo Studio in New York City.
Since posting, Shields' adorable mother and daughter tattoo photos have received around 50,000 likes on Instagram, with many fans commenting on how sweet this moment was.
The duo's tattoos come shortly after Shields revealed that her daughter wore her 1998 Golden Globes gown to her high school prom about a week ago.
"I thought it was a special night when I was nominated for a Golden Globe and wore this dress in 1998, but nothing could have prepared me to see my daughter wearing it to her prom, proud mama," Shields said in a post.
Shields also shared with her followers in another post that her daughter played the guitar for her graduation celebration.
