We tapped Tan-Luxe celebrity tanning artist Alexandra DiMarchi to share all her pro-tips on using body makeup to create an efortless glow.
"Always use a body blending makeup brush or mitt. Never use your hands -- it's messy and the product will not blend well. I like to use a tanning mitt to apply the product all over, and then blend with a body brush or beauty blender."
"Body makeup is a quick fix and self-tanner lasts longer. If someone needs a glow for one night then body makeup is great, if they want the glow to last a few days then I recommend self-tanner."
"A body blur or skin finish, as I like to say, evens your complexion and any skin concerns and gives your skin a light luminous glow without drastically changing your skin tone."
"If you set your body makeup with a setting powder, it does help -- but most body makeups might get on your clothing. My personal favorite body makeups are Instant Hero by Tan-Luxe."
