Tourists and locals in Fort Pierce, Florida, recently went "grocery shopping" at a local beach after random items like pet food, wine, ramen noodles, coffee and detergent mysteriously washed ashore on Wednesday.
Dozens of beachgoers scavenged the sand for the free grocery items at Pepper Park Beach. On Tuesday, coffee cans were discovered on the beach in Indialantic, Florida, about 50 miles south of Fort Pierce.
"This morning, I’m looking out the window, and I’m saying, 'Is that coffee out there?'" Fort Pierce resident Jan Hixon told ABC affiliate WPBF. "So my husband came down and took a look, and sure enough, we had enough for the whole building."

Mariners and beachgoers were "urged to not approach or open any containers in the water on shore," the U.S. Coast Guard said in a statement Tuesday. "One missing container is known to contain wet cell batteries. While the batteries are not believed to pose a serious environmental risk, the batteries do contain corrosive material which may result in chemical burns to the skin."
The U.S. Coast Guard did not immediately respond to ABC News' requests for any updates or additional comment.
