Trump's remarks about the melee in Charlottesville

WATCH: What Trump has said about the Charlottesville violence

President Trump has repeatedly lashed out at those who criticized his statements on the violence in Charlottesville, Virginia, and left out key parts of his previous remarks when he spoke about it again at a rally in Phoenix on Tuesday.

At the Phoenix rally, it was the fourth time Trump spoke publicly about the violence. At different times previously, he said there were “very fine” people on both sides of the Charlottesville violence, denounced “the KKK, neo-Nazis, white supremacists and other hate groups that are repugnant to everything we hold dear as Americans” and later doubled down, saying that there was violence “on many sides.”
