The eclectic mix of dishes featured at Smorgasburg, a Brooklyn food market, appeals to foodies and picky eaters alike. There are ramen burgers, lobster rolls, vegan ice creams, doughnuts and a plethora of food served on sticks.

[It] had a little bit of food at the beginning, the food took off and became it’s own thing," said Smorgasburg co-founder Eric Demby.
The outdoor food market, which has since expanded to other locations on the East Coast, is headed west. A Los Angeles-based Smorgasburg will open in June.
"Come with an open mind and an open stomach," Demby said. "Talk to the folks that are making your food, like that’s really what makes it fun here."
