"Bachelor" fans will have a lot to talk about following Monday's dramatic season premiere.
Not only did viewers get a better idea of what star Chris Soules' life in Iowa is like, but also, the 30 women competing for his heart were finally introduced -- and were they memorable.
Chris Soules Reveals the Most Jaw-Dropping Thing Said to Him On 'The Bachelor' Season Premiere Meet the 30 Women Competing for Chris Soules On 'The Bachelor'Didn't catch the episode but don't want to feel left out of the water-cooler conversation tomorrow? Here are a few of the night's biggest moments.
1. The entrances
As is the case every season, the women did everything they could to get Chris to notice them, but some of them were a little zanier than others. One woman, a cadaver tissue saleswoman, brought along a cooler and joked that a heart was inside, while another walked toward Chris singing karaoke. However, Soules said on "Good Morning America" that he thought the most memorable entrance came from the woman who asked him to "plow [her] field." (Spoiler alert: He gave her a rose anyway, even after she told a dirty joke about a walrus and a Tupperware party).
2. Tara's antics
Tara, a 26-year-old sport fishing enthusiast, got out of the limo wearing Daisy Dukes and cowboy boots, but later sneaked around to the limo again and re-introduced herself to Chris wearing a black dress and leopard-print wedges. That was just the beginning, however: after teaming up with her "best friend," Jack Daniels, Tara got visibly drunk and had trouble staying on her feet at the rose ceremony. Her behavior freaked out Chris so much that he left the room to meet with host Chris Harrison about whether he should keep her around. In the end, he decided to give Tara another chance and offered her a rose, which she sniffed throughout the rest of the episode.
3. Ashley S.'s onion speech
Ashley S., a 24-year-old hairstylist, also made a name for herself by giving a rambling speech about onions. She then wandered off the set and plucked fruit from a tree.
4. Chris's first "Bachelor" kiss
Britt, a 27-year-old waitress, was the first person out of the limo, and greeted Chris with the longest hug imaginable. It won him over: Not only did the Iowa farmer give her the first impression rose, but also, he briefly made out with her.
5. The return of Kimberly
After failing to get a rose, 28-year-old Kimberly, a yoga instructor, was reduced to tears. However, she refused to go home, and wandered back into the house to talk to Chris. Will he give her a chance? Fans will have to wait until next Monday to see.
