It was the meeting of the divas.
Mariah Carey got a special visit from Lady Gaga backstage at New York's Beacon Theatre, where the "Hero" singer performed Sunday night.
The two divas indulged their fans by posing for a couple of glamorous selfies.
"Hey ladies, Merry F***ing Christmas, Love, Mariah and Gaga," the "Born This Way" singer, 28, captioned the selfie shared on her Instagram. "This lady is so kind, such a star, and sounding legendary tonight at Beacon Theatre."

Merry Christmas!!"
Fans responded with calls for the two to join together for a duet.
The visit must have been a boost for Carey, who took some flak after her less than perfect performance of "All I Want for Christmas Is You" at Rockefeller Center's tree lighting event earlier this month.
The Grammy winner wraps up her six-show residency at the Beacon tonight.
