While most New Yorkers are fleeing the snow and cold, Aaron Cruz, a restaurant deliveryman in the Hell's Kitchen neighborhood of Manhattan, was bundling up to head out.

Cruz delivers food by foot or electric motorized bicycle for Eatery Restaurant, serving comfort food to hungry New Yorkers whom Mayor Bill de Blasio urged to stay indoors.

The total number of deliveries Monday night, at the height of the blizzard, was 73 among six delivery men on bikes. The restaurant closed its doors two hours early at 9 p.m. yesterday.

“If you’re not working hard, you’re not making money,” he said.

About riding a bike in the snow: “Sometimes I get scared, if something [might] happen.” Cruz said. “It’s very hard to work tonight.”
