The late Justice Antonin Scalia will lie in repose at the Supreme Court Friday with a funeral will follow on Saturday, the Court announced today.
A private ceremony will be held in the Court Friday morning at 9:30 a.m. after which the public will be allowed to pay respects from 10:30 a.m. until 8 p.m.
Saturday's funeral will take place at the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception in Washington D.C. at 11 a.m. The mass will be limited to family and friends, and the burial will be private.
In keeping with Court tradition dating back to 1873, Scalia's place on the Bench, his chair and the Bench directly ahead of his seat, have been draped in a black wool crepe. A black drape has also been hung above the doors to the Court.

Scalia died over the weekend while in Texas on a quail-hunting trip and officials believe that his passing was due to natural causes.
