Jill, 23, and Derick announced just weeks after their June, 2014 wedding that they were expecting their first child. While they didn't reveal the names they'd considered for the baby, during the pregnancy, the couple did share that the baby would be boy and that Jill hoped to give birth at home.

"I feel like it will be way more relaxing... and having the baby at home with a midwife provides more of that personal care," she said, adding that she lives down the street from a hospital. "It’s more intimate for the couple as well, getting to be in your own environment."
